Financial Times: Big Discounts Help Black Friday Rival Cyber Monday

Lindsay Whipp of Financial Times reported that online sales on Black Friday pushed Cyber Weekend sales to record highs, but big discounts could impact retailers' bottom lines. DynamicAction contributed retail analytics data to the report.

Retail data analytics group DynamicAction said that online promotions on Black Friday were up 42% over 2015, while markdowns increased 23%.
